Born at the eve of China’s Cultural Revolution, Ping Fu used to be separated from her relatives on the age of 8. She grew up battling starvation and humiliation and defensive her more youthful sister from the teens in Mao’s crimson shield. At twenty-five, she came across her method to the us; her basically assets have been $80 and some words of English.

Yet Ping persisted, and the hard-won classes of her youth guided her to good fortune in her new place of birth. Aided by means of her well-honed survival instincts, a number of strong associates, and the kindness of strangers, she grew into anyone she by no means suggestion she’d be—a powerful, self reliant, entrepreneurial leader.
