This new race, Homo sapiens, interesting of their abilities and class, terrifying of their cruelty, experience of guilt, and incipient corruption, spell doom for the extra light people whose international they'll inherit. Golding, writer of Lord of the Flies, received the 1983 Nobel Prize for Literature.
