Wolf Centos

Wolf Centos

Simone Muench

Wolf Centos is constituted of centos, a patchwork shape that originated round the 4th century. the shape is one that re-configures pre-existing poetic texts into new platforms of images and concepts. the writer is ready to position poets in dialog with each other throughout centuries and throughout continents. notwithstanding the poems are explicitly sutured jointly through the motif of the wolf, also they are associated by way of different parts, relatively motifs of language, loss, wish, and transformation. Wolf Centos is eventually elegiac because it oscillates among transformation and stasis, wildness and domesticity, demise and wonder, harm and therapeutic, simply because eventually our lives continuously shift among those polarities in addition. the final word wisdom of the poems is that as we age and event loss, we needs to hold our “wildness”—the wolf’s wilderness—inside us. during this means, the wolf turns into a logo of a threshold, a transformative space.
