This is the 1st English-language atlas to systematically introduce the surroundings, danger, vulnerability and threat mapping for eleven typical failures, i.e. earthquake, volcano, landslide, flood, hurricane surge, sand-dust typhoon, tropical cyclone, warmth wave, chilly wave, drought and wildfire, and danger mapping for multi-hazard catastrophe on the earth. The above eleven dangers are assessed and mapped at grid unit, comparable-geographic unit and nationwide unit, and the multi-hazard is classed and mapped at grid unit and nationwide unit. the predicted annual mortality and/or affected inhabitants dangers and anticipated annual monetary loss and/or affected estate probability of eleven dangers and multi-hazard of the area at nationwide point are unprecedentedly derived and ranked. The atlas could be a solid reference for researchers and scholars within the box of average catastrophe probability administration and danger governance, and enterpriser and probability supervisor to boot to appreciate the worldwide typical catastrophe hazard.
